Claude Andrew

Claude Andrew left a software career to pursue a BFA at Cornish College of the Arts. He now builds representational sculptures; his work is a replication of a moment, a sensation, a motion, rather than its appearance. He believes being aware of both the medium and the content distinguishes artists from engineers and consumers.
Claude Andrew Perpetual Fall

Perpetual Fall, 2009

Wood, paint, papier-mache, fans, plastic

Perpetual Fall depicts the view of looking out a window on a leaf strewn stormy day.  Coupling his artistic talents with his technology know how, Claude creates an artificially  recurring moment.
