Born and raised in Seattle, Troy Gua is a self-taught visual artist who grew up immersed in the culture of 70s-80s America. The images and icons of that era have been imprinted onto his psyche, fueling a prolific output of Pop-infused conceptual work in a diverse range of media. Gua marries popular and contemporary styles with wit and a crisp design aesthetic.
