We Are a Crowd of Others

We Are a Crowd of Others
by Gail Grinnell, Sam Wildman, & Eric John Olson

Exhibit Hours: December 3rd – January 28th (Wed-Sat, 12-6pm and by appointment)

This winter, artists Gail Grinnell, Sam Wildman, and Eric John Olson are using their residency at MadArt Studio to weave together an expansive, textile-based installation. Their work features hanging components made from hundreds of yards of spun material that has been drawn on, dyed, cut, and incorporated into the architecture of the building. We Are a Crowd of Others also includes a series of public programs. These meals, performances, lectures, and re-enactments investigate the language and resonance of ordinary acts. The public is invited to visit during the Open Studio period to observe the process as it unfolds and participate in the programs happening in and around the installation over the coming months.
