Alyson Piskorowski

Olympia, WA

Alyson Piskorowski creates both site-specific installations and two-dimensional work using alternative photography processes. In both mediums her work is primarily concerned with the interaction of light and space. Her installation work has been featured in a number of venues in the Pacific Northwest, including Shunpike’s Storefronts, Tacoma Spaceworks, MadArt’s Mad Campus at the University of Washington, and the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center. Piskorowski graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in Studio Art and Biochemistry, followed by a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. She went on to receive a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture and Public Art from the University of Washington. Piskorowski lives in Olympia, WA with her husband and two daughters.
