Past Exhibitions

Since its inception in 2009, MadArt has produced temporary, site-specific exhibitions around Seattle, featuring new works by local artists. These exhibitions focus on MadArt’s mission of providing artists with opportunities to create large-scale artwork and offering the public the unexpected enjoyment of stumbling upon art where they least expect it. With the opening of MadArt Studio in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood in 2014, MadArt began offering selected artists a unique space in which to create and exhibit large works along bustling Westlake Avenue. Serving as a catalyst for innovative and unusual public installations, MadArt continues to support emerging artists and encourage community involvement in the arts.
